What is K coating film?
K coating film uses special equipment to coat one or more layers of polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) latex on various film materials to obtain a film with high barrier properties. Its excellent barrier properties are mainly reflected in its ability to reduce oxygen transmission hundreds or thousands of times, thus greatly improving shelf life, fragrance retention, freshness, oil resistance, etc. It also has the same printing performance and composite performance as ordinary films, and can also have double-sided heat sealing performance (heat sealing strength ≥ 0.8N/15mm) as needed.
What are the main types of K coatings?
BOPP single-sided coated film (KOP) is suitable for all types of food packaging, with common specifications of 22um and 30um. BOPA single-sided coated film (KPA) is suitable for packaging meat products, aquatic products, etc. The common specification is 17um. BOPET single-sided coated film (KPET) is suitable for packaging peanuts, dried fruits, iodized salt, seasoning packets, etc. Common specifications are 14um and 17um.
BOPP single-sided matte film is suitable for food packaging such as pastries, and the common specification is 22um. BOPET double-sided coated film (KOPET) is suitable for packaging of electric mosquito coils and other products. The common specification is 19um. CPP single-sided coated film (KCPP) is suitable for packaging pesticides in bags, and the common specifications are 35um and 40um. CPE single-sided coated film (KCPE) is suitable for the composite layer of various food packaging, and the common specification is 48um. Cellophane single-sided coating film is suitable for chocolate packaging, and the common specification is 28g/m2.
PVDC coated film types:
1. BOPP single-sided coating film (KOP) is suitable for all types of food packaging, with common specifications of 21μm and 30μm.
2. BOPA single-sided coating film (KPA) is suitable for packaging meat products, aquatic products, etc. The common specification is 17μm.
3. BOPET single-sided coating film (KPET) is suitable for packaging peanuts, dried fruits, iodized salt, condiments, etc. The commonly used specifications are 14μm and 17μm.
4. BOPP single-sided coated matt film (K matt) is suitable for food packaging such as pastries. The common specification is 21μm.
5. BOPP double-sided coated film (KOPP) is suitable for lightweight packaging of cigarettes, Sachima, fragrant rice cakes, etc. The commonly used specifications are 22μm and 31μm.
6. BOPET double-sided coating film (KOPET) is suitable for packaging of electric mosquito coils and other products. The common specification is 19μm.
7. CPP single-sided coating film (KCPP) is suitable for packaging of bagged pesticides and other packaging. Common specifications are 35μm and 40μm.
8. CPE single-sided coated film (KCPE) is suitable for the composite layer of various types of food packaging. The common specification is 50μm.
9. Cellophane single-sided coating film (KPT) is suitable for chocolate packaging, and the common specification is 28g/m2 film packaging application.
10. Three-layer co-extruded black and white PE single-sided coating film is suitable for liquid milk packaging. Common specifications are 70μm, 80μm, and 90μm.
